Pat’s…

is a studio and workspace based in the city centre of Nottingham. It functions as a place of experimentation where ideas are tested through making. The studio is where many of my works begin , developed through hands-on exploration with materials, processes, and form.

I am (Patrick) an artist based in Nottingham. I studied Sculpture at Central Saint Martins, where I developed a strong interest in working with objects and materials across a wide range of mediums.

My practice is multidisciplinary and driven by curiosity about form, material, and process. While my background is rooted in sculpture, I enjoy working across different mediums and often allow the idea itself to determine how it is made.

More recently, I have begun exploring painting as a central part of my practice. Alongside this, I continue to experiment with objects and materials in the studio.

Because of this approach, my work often shifts in subject and focus. I’m interested in following ideas wherever they lead, allowing each body of work to develop in its own direction while remaining grounded in experimentation and making.
